Hyatt Regency Maui Gets Fresh with Renowned Hawaii Food Festivals
Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa will participate in two acclaimed local food festivals: Ka’anapali Fresh and Hawaii Food and Wine Festival. On August 31, 2014, the AAA Four Diamond Resort will play host to an event combining the best of both festivals: Ka’anapali Kitchen Stadium: Under a Maui Moon, Hawaii Food and Wine Festival Gala Dinner.
A signature event for both festivals, Ka’anapali Kitchen Stadium: Under a Maui Moon will take place at Hyatt Regency Maui’s open-air Napili Gardens, which will be transformed into a “Kitchen Stadium” for the evening. Guests will take a first row, ocean-front seat to look on as master chefs prepare a six-course menu for their enjoyment under the Maui Moonlight – each course offering an extraordinary dining experience comprised of Hawaii-grown products for guests to savor. Participating chefs include Greg Grohowski, Executive Chef of Hyatt Regency Maui, Isaac Bancaco of Ka’ana Kitchen at Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger and television programs East Meets West and Simply Ming, Floyd Cardoz, winner of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters, Bev Gannon of Bev Gannon Restaurants, and Mourad Lahlou of San Francisco’s Aziza. Tickets are $500/person for VIP and $250/person for general admission, and can be purchased here. VIP tickets include a pre-event meet & greet and cocktail reception with featured chefs and winemakers and preferred seating.
“We are so honored to be a part of the festivities of both Ka’anapali Fresh and Hawaii Food and Wine,” said Allan Farwell, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Maui. “Our resort has a long history of emphasizing fresh and local food, and to be able to showcase our philosophy in a signature event for both of these renowned festivals is extremely exciting.
